Appearance:

Golden Retrievers from Moody Doodles have varying hair textures and shades of blond and red hair color. The hair texture of our puppies ranges from loose wavy hair to fine straight hair. A dog’s hair texture is evident by the time it reaches 6 weeks, so you can pick a puppy with the hair texture you desire.

The hair colors of our Golden Retrievers range from light baby blond to dark reddish brown, and there’s so much variety in between!

Size:

Our Golden Retrievers are generally 40-50 pounds. The size of a puppies paw compared to its body is a good way to tell how large a puppy will be. Also, a general rule of thumb is to add both the parents’ weights together and divide by 2 to obtain the average adult weight of the puppies. It is possible that within any litter there may be puppies that fall above or below the projected adult weights.

Temperament:

Golden Retrievers have a great temperament and are one of the most trainable breeds. They are calm, intelligent, friendly toward other dogs and animals in general, extremely patient with small children, and have a great desire to please. Golden Retrievers are very athletic dogs and should be exercised regularly.

Your Allergies:

Golden Retrievers do shed and should be brushed regularly. If you have allergies towards dogs, we would not recommend that you become a dog owner.

Registry:

All of our dogs are CKC or AKC registered. If you desire, you can register your puppy after you have purchased it.
